FPLS Parent/Guardian, I hope everyone was able to enjoy Spring Break and the Easter Holiday! I want to remind everyone that our Breakfast/Lunch Meal Program for the week will start back tomorrow, April 14th. We will continue to provide five days worth of meals at no charge. The "Meal Pick-Up" is at one location, behind the Elementary Cafeteria, 9:30-11 a.m. and will have the same pick-up process as the last time. The "Meal Deliveries" will be from 9-11 a.m. On the deliveries, please make sure your animals are put away so we can drop off at your door. If you want to cancel your delivery, please call 513-875-4500 and leave a detailed message of who you are, your address, and phone number. Have a good day, and as always....GO ROCKETS! FP high school students your new assignments are available on Teacher Pages. Stay in close email contact with your teachers. If you do not have internet service or have any problems leave a message on my high school voice mail and we will get back to you. If you have written work to turn in it can be dropped off in the Middle School foyer. If you need paper packets let us know and we will make those available for you to pick up. Please keep working and stay in touch.

FPES Parents: The next round of work packets will be available on teacher pages starting tomorrow. If you are without reliable internet service and need a paper copy those can be picked up in the middle school foyer starting Tuesday. Completed work can be turned in there as well.

Today's Senior Spotlight is Zoe Vilvens. Zoe will be attending Northern Kentucky University to study English-Secondary Education. She will use her degree to pursue a career as a High School English Teacher. I would like to thank all the amazing teachers and staff members a Fayetteville for helping me reach my goals, and I miss you all! Zoe, we are so proud of you and can't wait to see what your future holds! Keep working hard, and, as always, Go Rockets!

Today's Senior Spotlight is Jami Brossenne. Jami plans to attend Wilmington College and major in Agriculture Business and Education with the hope of becoming an Ag Educator. She will be apart of the Wilmington College Equestrian Team. Jami said: "My favorite memory, by far, would be walking in Fayetteville’s doors. I was new and everyone made me feel welcome and making all the friends I did in the 5 years I have been at Fayetteville. I want to thank all of the teachers who have helped me along the way and especially thank Mr. Birkhimer for helping me find my passion for agriculture and help lead me to my future occupation!" Today's Senior Spotlight is Cole Holden. Cole is planning on attending Hocking College to pursue a degree in Natural Resources Law Enforcement. Cole then plans to attend the police academy to become a Wildlife Officer. I want to say a thank you to the school and teachers for all you have done for me. Being a senior, I will miss playing soccer and baseball. We are so proud of you, Cole! Can't wait to see what your future holds. Congratulations, and, as always, GO ROCKETS!

Today's Senior Spotlight is Makhayla Icard. Makhayla is planning on attending University of Cincinnati. Makhayla plans to pursue a double major in Neuroscience and Psychology. Makhayla wants to use her degrees to do research and counseling. Thank you to all my teachers over the years. I would especially like to say thank you to the band/Mrs.StClair and the mock trial team/Mr.Lockhart. They are my second family and where my best FHS memories are held. Today's Senior Spotlight is Alycia Saylor. Alycia's plan after graduation is to join the workforce. She hopes to one day get married and raise a family. I would like to say thank you to all my teachers and staff. Thank you for being kind and patient. You all have worked hard to mold us into the adults we have become. I also want to say to my classmates that we have finally made it! In just a short two months, we will be graduated. We have all grown so close. I will miss you all and wish you the best! Fayetteville MS/Southern Hills CTC Information Technology teacher Jason Basford has joined other educators to help make 3D printed components for PPE face shields. 3D printed parts are being produced with the CTC's 3D printer then provided to the Southern Ohio Makers Against COVID Coalition for assembly and sterilization. Today's Fayetteville-Perry Senior Spotlight is Jillian Korte. Jillian is planning on attending Thomas More University to study General Psychology. Since the school closure has been extended through May 1 we will be unable to hold the Fayetteville High School Prom on April 25 as originally planned. Our hope is to reschedule and have Prom at a later date but this decision and details must wait until we know about school reopening. As far as graduation is concerned we will at some point have a graduation exercise for seniors. Once again the time and date will depend on when we can reopen school. Stay tuned for updates on both.

Rocket Family, as we end the first three weeks of on-line learning, we want to make sure that all students have been in contact with their teachers. This is imperative for students to maintain an open line of communication with their teachers, either through email, Teams chat, or phone calls to the school. If you call the Middle School office and leave a message for a teacher, I will make sure the message is relayed to the teacher. An open line of communication will keep the confusion and anxiety of our students at a minimum. Just a reminder that all work for students should be listed on the teacher’s webpage. If you are having issues finding the teachers page, please click on the following link to the Fayetteville staff page- https://www.fpls.us/o/fp/staff. Staff are listed alphabetical and the teacher’s webpage is located under the teacher’s email address. Please have your student check in with his/her teacher’s on a regular basis. Any student who is working on paper packets, those need to be returned to the office and new packets for the weeks of April 13th, 20th & 27th are now available in the office. Please schedule a time to come to the middle school office to pick up the new work. Please encourage your student to keep up with the work. When we return to on-line learning on April 13th, after next week’s break, there will be a drop box placed in front of the Middle School doors, for students to turn in completed work. The work will then be scanned and emailed to the teachers. This will allow students to drop off work anytime, and not have to schedule a time to drop off work.

Parent/Guardian, I want to remind you that next week is our scheduled Spring Break for students. Please take some time to get away from all the academics and enjoy your family and the good weather. As our lives in education are changing each day, our goal is to accommodate and communicate with you parent/guardian of the school districts action plan(s). Our first Senior Spotlight is Bella Durham. Bella is planning on attending The Ohio State University to pursue a degree in Human Nutrition. She plans on getting her Masters in Dietetics and becoming a registered dietitian. Some comments from Bella: I want to thank all of my teachers for pushing me and helping me succeed throughout high school. Also, to my school who allowed to me to get a college experience/college credits before graduating, so I was prepared for life after high school! We are proud of you and all of your accomplishments, Bella! As always, GO ROCKETS!
