The Governor with a pretty nice report on his day with us!

Governor and Mrs. DeWine visited FPLS today to see firsthand how evidence-based, Science of Reading strategies are improving reading instruction in our classrooms. Following their classroom visit, they toured the Rocket ๐ Community Wellness Center construction site, signed the final beam alongside our students and staff, and watched as it was raised into place.
This marks the second visit in as many years for Governor DeWine, who continues to highlight how Fayetteville is leveraging competitive grant funding to strengthen teacher efficacy, advance literacy and language instruction, and invest in the future to meet the needs of our community.

We appreciate the passion, practice, and precision of our marching band and flag corps! Thank you, first year band director Molly Ross for a great job!
