The Fayetteville FFA held their first meeting with the new officer team today. They discussed items to finish up the school year and activities in the summer. They also had a special guest, Fayetteville-Perry Schools SRO Officer Waddle, join for the meeting. He had activities and spoke about the harmful effects of alcohol, as we head towards prom this weekend. Students wore goggles to show how alcohol affects motor functions and engaged in conversation about making right choices. We thank you, Officer Waddle, for spending time after the school day with our FFA members!

Hoagie Day will be Tuesday, May 11th. The Fayetteville Boosters would like to celebrate our students and staff with $1 off hoagies! It's been a memorable school year and the students and staff have been amazing! Pre orders will be taken on Monday, May 10th at lunch times. Hoagies will be $3.00 for grades 5-12. A huge shout out to Terry's Pizza for supporting the Rockets as they donate all hoagie supplies on hoagie days. Money generated from hoagie days all go to senior scholarships each year! THANK YOU!!

During Session 3 of the Virtual Ohio FFA State Convention today, the FFA Proficiency Award results were announced. The Fayetteville FFA members that were finalists were Griffin Brinkman in the area of Environmental Science and Natural Resources Systems and Lilly Beebe in the area of Fruit Production. The PTO flower sale will be held May 6th & 7th during school hours in the gravel area on the north side of the elementary. You can send money in a marked envelope and a list of who or what to purchase. There will be shopper helpers available for students. We are excited for this fun event for the students!
