At the end of each quarter Fayetteville Elementary conducts a drawing from all of the green tickets earned by students during that time. One ticket from each homeroom is selected and those 18 students are awarded Student of the Quarter for that homeroom. Students of the Quarter receive a t-shirt and a Texas Roadhouse kids meal coupon. Those 18 students are placed into a second drawing. One per grade level receives an extra prize of a $10 Amazon gift card. All students earn chances in the drawing by meeting and/or exceeding our building expectations of Be Responsible, Be Respectful, and Be Resourceful and earning green tickets. We will have another drawing at the end of the second quarter where all green tickets will be entered so encourage your child to keep following the expectations and earning tickets. Congratulations to our Students of the Quarter for the First Quarter! #pbis #earnedit #rallyrockets #responsible #respectful #resourceful

On November 1st, the Middle School had a special visit from the FBI. One of our 6th grade students, Bryce Grippa, had written a letter to the director of the FBI about their field trucks and how he wanted to be an FBI agent when he grows up. The FBI surprised him by making him an honorary agent and allowing him to work side-by-side with a bomb tech. Bryce was given the opportunity to try on the equipment and use some of the technology brought by the agents. All students in 6th grade were given the opportunity to try on the FBI field vest and take pictures. An awesome and wonderful day for the students at FMS
