It was a wet night in Blanchester but the JH Rockets still did awesome at the Track Invitational! Kenna Stratton placed 1st in the girls 200 Hurdles and 2nd in the 100 Hurdles. Ethan Blust placed 2nd in the boys 1600m run. Cassidy Rhinehimer placed third in girls Long Jump! Great work rockets! 🚀
Our Junior High track and field invitational at Blanchester is "ON" for today as scheduled.
Present field conditions and projected additional precipitation on our diamonds warrant postponement of tonight's baseball and softball games with West Union. Senior Recognition Day will be moved to a future date to be announced next week.

Great weather, great game, but not the result we wanted. In another extra inning game, our Rockets come up short by a score of 6-3 to Manchester. A quick turnaround with baseball and softball back home tomorrow with our 4:30 PM Senior Night Ceremony prior to games vs West Union.

We tried; however, field conditions dictate postponement of today's games with Whiteoak. Reschedule date to be determined.
Senior Day Festivities are being moved to Thursday, May 1, prior to the baseball and softball games vs West Union. At this point, we are continuing to monitor weather conditions and projections before making a final decision on today's games with Whiteoak. We will update asap.

The JH Track and Field team competed at Western Brown last night, they did Awesome! Kenna Stratton took 1st in the girls 200m Hurdles! Kara Green had a PR in her 800m run! Cassie Rhinehimer had a PR at Shot Put! And Colby Williams had a PR by 17ft with his Discus Throw! Ethan Blust and Bradley Haskel had a PRs in the 1600m run. Way to go team!

HS Track participated at Western Brown tonight! Everyone did a great job, with Caroline Hansel winning the long jump and the 4x100m girls placed 1st! Many teammates finishing in the top 10! Keep up the good work!
Congratulations to our Jr. varsity softball team on their 8-5 victory over Lynchburg Clay on our home field tonight! Make plans to turn out in support of our Spring sports senior recognition ceremony tomorrow beginning at 4:30 PM.
Students who ride the SHCTC bus will be arriving late today. The bus had mechanical issues and will arrive back at our school late.
