Second round of the Holiday Tournament today, with JV girls starting off with the win. The Rockets won over Georgetown 37-20, bringing home 3rd place.

The second game of the Holiday Tournament, JV Rocket boys vs Western Brown was a close game. It was another good effort by the Rockets. Final score Rockets 44 Western Brown 48. Varsity games start at 2:00 pm. Go Rockets!





In the first game of the Holiday Tournament the JV Lady Rockets played well but lost to the Western Brown Broncos. The final score 30 to 22. Good effort by the Rockets!




Today is the first round of the holiday tournament at Georgetown High School/Elementary School. JV girls will play at 10am, with JV boys at 11:15am. Varsity girls will play at 2pm, with boys playing at 3:30pm. ALL JV games will be played at Georgetown Elementary, with varsity playing in the High School. No passes will be accepted! Tickets are $10 for students and $8 for students/seniors.



Special congratulations to alumni Jason Iles on being selected into the Brown County Athletic Hall of Fame. Jason is a 2003 graduate of Fayetteville-Perry High School, and will be recognized on Friday during the Holiday Tournament. Iles was a four-sport athlete for the Rockets in golf, soccer, basketball and baseball. He still holds the SHAC record for goals in a season with 46 during his junior year and had a total of 86 career goals. Iles went on to play collegiate soccer at Southern State Community College where he was selected to the OCCAC 1st team. He then transferred to Wilmington College to play baseball for the Quakers where he had an outstanding career. Iles is listed among Ohio Athletic Conference and Wilmington College record holders in multiple categories. To view more about this story, follow this link:

Tonight is "Silent Night" as boys basketball hosts Fairfield-Leesburg in an important league matchup tonight. Freshman boys fall short in game one, with JV soon to continue tonight's festivities.

BIG SHOUT OUT to the HS Student Council! They did a "12 Days of Donations" food drive just before break. It was a huge success! All proceeds benefited local families. Congratulations to the 8th Grade Boys Basketball team for the win over Manchester this evening. The 8th grade completed the sweep of Manchester this evening with a convincing 55 - 38 win. The 8th grade boys remain undefeated for the season. Keep up the good work boys.
