Do you have an old guitar sitting around your house collecting dust or not being used? Are you looking for a way to give back to our school? Several students enrolled in guitar class this year, but because they do not have access to their own personal guitar, they cannot continue in the class. We are looking for a few guitars allow our students the opportunity to participate in the guitar class this year. If you would like to help our students, please contact heidi.greco@fpls.us or call the high school office at 513-875-3520. Who knows, we might just have the next big rock star at FHS just waiting on some help from YOU! Thank you!

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Congratulations to our teachers and students for being our State Testing Stand-Outs! These teachers were recognized at yesterday's district in-service for having a proficiency rate above 70% or for having the highest score in Brown County on their Ohio State Test or End of Course Exam last spring.

Staff members attended Tuesday's district in-service where they worked toward improving the services we provide to students. Staff from both the Brown County ESC and Hamilton County ESC were on-site providing training on writing better and more effective IEP and gifted goals and providing better literacy instruction in the classroom. Thank you to our exceptional educators and their commitment to being lifelong learners!

Our newly formed SFS (Skills for Success) Leadership Team discussed the importance of supporting the emotional needs of our students and co-workers at yesterday's district in-service. Thank you to Mrs. Crawford, Mrs. Noble, Ms. Swisher, and Mrs. Kingus for sharing with us.
