In a highly competitive match at Leesburg, our Rocket varsity took the opening set 25-20 before dropping a long, hard fought second, 23-25. The Lady Lions prevailed in the third and fourth by identical 25-17 margins to take the match.

What an impressive comeback by Coach Hoffman's JV squad. Down 22-7 in the first set, the Rockets jettisoned to a 25-24 win and rode the momentum into a 25-9 second set sweep at Leesburg. Well done, ladies!

On the road again: Good luck to our girls JV and varsity volleyball teams at Leesburg tonight (5:30 start) and our Girls JV soccer at Dayton Christian HS. Address for DC soccer stadium is 2528 Wilmington Pike, Dayton, 45419 (6 PM start).
HS picture day will be Friday, August 29th! This is for High School only.
Seniors are to dress up, gentleman in shirt and tie and ladies in a nice blouse.
All students will be photographed!
Students who are CCP or attend a Career Tech are encouraged to come early, pictures can be taken starting at 7:15am and will end at 9:30am.

Hard earned ... well deserved ... Rocket boys defeat North Adams 2-0!
Rocket hustle nets us a 2-0 lead ... 6 minutes remain.
Congratulations to our 8th grade girls volleyball team on their exciting win over Manchester in straight sets! Strong serves, smart plays, and great communication helped lead the way to a victory. It was a great team effort, and everyone contributed to the win. Keep up the hard work and let’s carry this momentum into the next game!

The 7th grade volleyball team played a tough match against Manchester but came up just short. Even though we didn’t win, the team showed great effort, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the game. Get them next time girls.
Maximum effort, multiple individual battles, persistence ultimately pays off with the Rockets breaking through to score with eight minutes left in the game. Defense and decision making salted away the rest of the match for a 1-0 Lady Rockets win!!

Miss Ross will be meeting with all 6th grade parents and students that plan to be in band tomorrow, August 21st from 6-7pm in the HS cafeteria. Any payments that were made on Linq will be transferred to our new system.
We have elementary & middle school fees & Pay to Participate & Sports Passes already on MySchoolBucks for Parents to pay. You can also make meal payments online too.

Our Rocket boys soccer JV squad with a solid effort and execution to gain a 4-1 victory over Whiteoak today. The varsity travels to North Adams for a big one tomorrow night! Girls and boys play a doubleheader on the road with a scheduled start at 4:30 PM.
