Parent/Guardian & Rocket Community, I am thrilled to share the exciting news that yesterday we had the honor of hosting Governor DeWine at our school district! The Governor spent valuable time meeting with many of our students and staff members, engaging in meaningful conversations that will undoubtedly benefit our community. During his visit, Governor Dewine graciously provided me and my administrative team with the opportunity to discuss various topics of concern. It was a productive exchange, and we are grateful for the Governor's attentiveness and support. Director of DEW-Steve Dackin joined in the discussions, and we are please to report that the entire visit was marked by professionalism and encouragement. The Governor and his team expressed their support for the incredible work happening at Fayetteville-Perry Local Schools. Yesterday, the Fayetteville FFA started their Agriculture in the Classroom series with the 2nd grade classes! Their first lesson was about flowers and pollination. 2nd graders demonstrated the pollination process and learned about where some of their food comes from. The students had a great time!
Eighth grade students toured Southern Hills Career Technical Center today to take a closer look at the twelve programs offered. All eighth grade students and parents are invited to the career exploration event tonight, January 25 from 6-7 pm at Southern Hills CTC in Georgetown.

Homecoming Festivities will take place Friday night between the JV and Varsity Boys games
The elementary will reschedule our awards ceremony that was originally scheduled for January 19. The new date will be Friday, February 2. Times will be the same. Grades 1-2 will begin at 8:30. Grades 3-5 will begin at 10:15. Invitations to parents of students receiving awards were previously sent by teachers. If you have any questions, you can call the elementary office at 875-2083.
