
Congratulations to the 7th grade Girls Basketball team for their win over Lynchburg this morning. The 7th grade Girls were undefeated in the league and won the SHAC tournament with a 27-26 victory. Way to go Rockets!

The second game was a close game with good effort by the Rocket JV but came up short 43 to 41.




The Rockets are playing the Blue Jays in Ripley tonight. The freshman start with a nice win 39 to 10. Good job Rockets!

After a slow start the 7th grade boys pulled out a hard fought victory over North Adams to advance to the finals of the SHAC tournament with a final score of 35-24. The boys will play Saturday morning at Peebles HS. Lets go Rockets, bring home a championship.





Tomorrow night will be youth night for our youth basketball program! Each player and team will be recognized immediately following the JV girls game. Also, there will be an elementary game taking place at 5pm! Come on out to support our youth!

Parents/Guardians of elementary and middle school students: Tomorrow is the final day to turn in forms for our parent participation programs for book fair ("Bring a Friend to Breakfast" for the elementary and "Bring a Friend to Book Fair" for the middle school). Congratulations to the HS Mock Trial team, led by "attorneys" Morgan Cole and Isaiah Dowers, on their win over Bishop Fenwick on Friday. Morgan received the honor of being named Best Attorney! Thank you to our FHS alumna and attorney Courtney Worley, who volunteers her time each year to assist advisor Jeff Lockhart in coaching the team. We may have a few more future attorneys in our midst!
