HIGH STUDENTS ONLY - Tomorrow 4/13 will be the High School ELA II part 1 testing. ๐BUSES WILL RUN ON REGULAR PICK-UP SCHEDULE for all students. Students NOT testing have the OPTION to arrive by 10am, with classes running on the 2Hr Delay "SCHEDULE A" . This means that HS students will start the day with periods 1 and 2!

Congratulations to the Track Team! Last night at West Union the 4x100 Relay team โ Isaiah Dowers, Warren Murphy, Gavin Valentine and PJ McCarty place 2nd with a 48.74(seconds)! PJ also came in 2nd in the 400m with a new school record of 56.26 seconds! Anne Murphy won the 100 and 300 meter hurdles and placed 3rd in the Shot Put. Warren Murphy came in 4th in 200m and Isaiah Dowers came in 4th in the Shot Put! Other members that came in the top 10 of their events were Gavin Valentine, Brant Crosley, Alexis Deffren, and Avery Jakeway!

๐Seniors! Tomorrow morning Jostens will be at school by 7:30am to hand out Graduation packets in the HS Library! SHCTC students are to go directly to the library, all other students will be called down at 8am. Also, bring your baby picture for the yearbook if you haven't already turned it in.

FES Parents/Guardians: If you registered your child for Art Camp this week it runs today through Friday and will end at 4:30 each day. To pick up your child you will park in the rear parking lot and enter Door #26 by the gym, walk to the cafeteria, and sign your child out. If you have any questions regarding Art Camp you can call the elementary office at 875-2083.

Jr./Sr. Prom - All Prom permission slips (student and guest) must be turned be turned in by 3pm today (4/10) to be able to attend Prom this Saturday.

Baseball and softball continue the excellent start to the season, both taking wins over Lynchburg. Our teams are currently scheduled to travel to Eastern tonight, but will depend on good weather conditions. Keep it rolling rockets!






Hard fought win by our JV baseball team over MVCA last night. Well done boys!
JV baseball will travel to Williamsburg to face the Wildcats tonight! Good luck!





The Envirothon Team competed today at Rocky Fork Lake. Multiple schools attended from Adams, Brown, and Highland Counties.

The FPHS Yearbook is doing a big senior section this year. However, we need your photos! Each senior needs to submit a quote, baby picture, and graduation photo for the section. (See below for example,). ALL SENIORS will be featured. Email photos to jennifer.gilpin@fpls.us
You can also bring the photos to room 201 in the high school to be scanned! Deadline May 1. Email Mrs. Gilpin with any questions!


HS Track competed at Georgetown! The team did very well with many achieving their PR! Congratulations to Anne Murphy for winning the 100m and 300m Hurdles! Others that placed in the top 5 were: Warren Murphy (100m and 200m Dash), PJ McCarty (400m), Anne Murphy (Shot Put)! Our only relay, Boys 4x100 came in 6th- Isaiah Dowers, PJ McCarty, Gavin Valentine, and Warren Murphy!











Big day for the rockets in their league openers! Varsity softball and baseball both win big over Ripley.
Highlight of the day: Kelley Polston with a big time grand slam!
