Principal Jim Herron's Message
Fayetteville Family, the school year seems to be flying by. The middle school students are fully one-to-one, with every student grades 6 - 8 having a laptop during the school day. The students have been working hard using the new Achieve 3000 and ALEKS programs purchased through the School Quality Improvement Grant awarded to the Middle School last year. The Football and Volleyball teams completed successful campaigns and we now look forward to the Boys and Girls Basketball seasons. Students have completed their first round of MAP testing and teachers are using the data from these tests to help prepare students for the Ohio State Tests given in the spring. The second round of MAP testing will be in December, giving teachers a better idea of where students are and if they are on track or need interventions. Our HERO league is off and running with their Bully Prevention lessons for the Elementary School, with new members being chosen for the 2019-2020 school year. Rocket Family Connections, a program to help parents and students connect in a meaningful way, has been a hit with the families that are participating. If you have concerns or questions, do not hesitate to call the school at 513-875-2829 or email at firstname.lastname@example.org. We hope everyone has a great year and AS ALWAYS… GO ROCKETS!!!
